Remember those moments when your parents assigned you a task, but your mind was elsewhere, lost in deep thought? They could sense something was off. You tried to focus, but your mind wandered, leading to mistakes. Then, the inevitable scolding followed.
I experienced this recently, and I don't blame my parents—they have every right.
After reflecting on it, I realized something profound. As boys, we rarely share our deepest thoughts with our parents or family.
Instead, we confide in a few close friends* who understand us completely—why our mood is off, and what we're going through. For us, friendships often hold a special place, sometimes even more than family and even our relationships.
